PPG Paints Arena Rules
Please read the rules below to ensure that you have the best time possible at the PPG Paints Arena. These rules are designed to keep all guests safe and comfortable during their visit as well as to ensure that everyone can enjoy the show equally. Failure to abide by these rules may result in being ejected from the event without refund.

Accessibility Policy
The PPG Paints Arena is dedicated to accessibility and makes sure there are plenty of ADA-approved seats across all levels and price ranges. In addition, guests can find ADA approved parking in the East Lot, North Lot, South Lot and West Lot. These spaces are only allowed for vehicles with ADA stickers or placards on display. You can also request ADA-approved accommodations so you can best enjoy the show.

Bag Policy
Bags are PROHIBITED Exceptions Upon Inspection: Medical bag, Diaper bag accompanying a child, and Hand clutch/Wallets – CANNOT exceed 8” X 5” x 1″
Photography and Recording
You may take photos and videos for personal use during most events, but the venue prohibits professional photography gear, including detachable lenses, tripods, and external lighting equipment.
You should always check specific event policies, as some artists and performers prohibit all photography and recording during their shows. The venue exercises the right to confiscate your recording equipment or delete content that violates artist agreements.
Typically, attendees cannot use flash photography, as it distracts performers and disrupts other guests’ experiences. Social media sharing is generally acceptable.
COVID-19 Related Policy
For most events proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests are not required for entry. And masks are recommended but not required per CDC guidelines while inside the arena. However, certain events may have stricter requirements and will be noted in the event description.

Dress Code Policy
Dress for comfort. But please be aware that security will check purses and bags for contraband and illegal items. In addition, please do not wear offensive clothing to the venue. Also, shoes are required.
Lost and Found Policy
If you lost something at the venue then please call 412-642-1800 after the event to check if anything was found or turned in.
Please be sure to give your complete contact information as well as a detailed description of your lost item(s). PPG Paints Arena is not responsible for lost items.
Mask Policy
Masks are recommended but not required per CDC guidelines. Some events may have stricter requirements that will be noted in the event description.

Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed in the venue.
You cannot bring any bags into the arena. However, the no-bag policy may allow medical bags, diaper bags, and wristlets or wallets after the security has cleared these items.
Leave items like aerosol air horns, laser pointers, and professional recording equipment at home. The facility also prohibits weapons, illegal substances, and outside food or beverages (including water bottles).
During sports and concert performances, the arena does not allow flag poles. Signs and banners may be allowed but are at the discretion of the security team. The same applies to any noisemakers, beach balls, or promotional items that might disrupt other guests or create potential safety hazards.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the entire facility. The ban includes restrooms and private suites.
These could be subject to change per the artist request. The venue reserves the right to adjust the items on this list.
The PPG Paints Arena reserves the right to search anyone, and their belongings, who enter the premises.
Re-Entry/Entry Policy
Generally, re-entry is not allowed. Please be prepared to remain during the entire event.
Smoking Rules
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in PPG Paints Arena for the safety and consideration of all guests. Exit and re-entry into the building is not permitted.
Age Policies
Children under two years of age do not require tickets for most events if they sit on an adult’s lap. However, you must purchase a ticket for children two and older, regardless of whether they occupy their own seat. Some events may have specific age restrictions or recommendations that you should verify when purchasing tickets.
Conduct Expectations
It’s best to follow staff instructions regarding seating and safety procedures at the PPG Paints Arena. The venue prohibits the disruptions that come with excessive alcohol consumption and has a zero-tolerance policy for fighting, threatening behavior, or harassment of any kind. The venue’s security will also cooperate with Pittsburgh police to ensure serious violations result in criminal charges when necessary.
