Pittsburgh — are y’all ready to BELIEVE again?! Because the legends are back, baby - and we’re ready to send them off the proper way this Spring. No other than Journey is hitting the stage at PPG Paints Arena this March on the 2nd,, and whenever they come it’s a party. But the last tour?? It’s history in the making. The Final Frontier Tour marks the end of an era for one of the greatest rock bands of all time, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most emotional, high-energy, sing-your-heart-out nights of the year. Sixty cities. Countless hits. Decades of memories : all coming together for one last run through arenas and amphitheaters across North America, and we get one of the FIRST shows of the tour right here in Pittsburgh - how lucky of us, right?! It’s Journey’s grand farewell, and you already know: Don’t Stop Believin’ is gonna hit different this time. And THAT’S why we need you right here for it all.
Journey’s legacy stretches back over five decades of pure, melodic power. Formed in San Francisco in 1973, the band carved their name into rock history with albums like Infinity, Escape, and Frontiers — and a streak of arena anthems that defined generations. With Neal Schon still leading the charge on guitar and Arnel Pineda’s powerhouse vocals carrying the torch, Journey has sold over 100 million records worldwide, earned a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and soundtracked millions of road trips, graduations, and first loves. From Separate Ways to Faithfully, from Any Way You Want It to Open Arms — they’ve given us the soundtrack to life itself. Talking about the farewell run, guitarist Neal Schon told People Magazine: “This tour is a thank-you to everyone who’s ever believed in us. Through every era, every lineup, every high and low — this one’s for the fans. It’s the end of one chapter, but a celebration of everything we built together.” That’s the kind of energy we’re walking into at PPG — a full-circle moment decades in the making.
So y’all : when the lights dim and those opening notes ring out, it’s going to be emotional. We won’t judge you if you do end up crying. The stage design is rumored to be next-level, the setlist digs deep into their catalog, and every chorus will hit like the first time. So AKA - this is our moment. Grab your crew, warm up those vocals, and let’s make some noise one last time for the rock gods themselves. Journey’s Final Frontier Tour — don’t miss it. See you soon.
