Modern metalcore icons Bring Me The Horizon are gearing up for another world tour following the release of their seventh studio album last year. Post Human: Nex Gen first made its debut on May 24th 2024, and now, the band is set to perform at over a dozen arenas across the US, Canada, and the UK with more dates on the way. You can’t miss ‘em! Get tickets to their Pittsburgh show right here, right now.
Bring Me The Horizon may often be defined as simply a “metal band” but really, they’re so much more than that. The group has changed up their eclectic sound with every album they’ve released, gathering influences from all over the place. But while their style may be in a state of near constant change, one thing is for certain: they are undeniable rockstars. And now, they’re coming straight to you, Pittsburgh. You can catch Bring Me The Horizon when they perform at the PPG Paints Arena here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania next May, so don’t miss out! Grab your tickets while you can!
There are very few metal bands who have spanned quite as many genres in their career as Bring Me The Horizon has. With their debut album, Count Your Blessings, the band explored the deathcore genre; a fusion of death metal and metalcore that combines the intensity of the former with the melodic sensibilities of the latter. However, when it comes to BMTH’s sound, this record barely scratches the surface.
Throughout their years, Bring Me The Horizon have experimented with countless genres, including (but not limited to) metalcore, alternative metal, post-hardcore, pop rock, and electronic rock. Each record tends to lean more in one specific direction, making each of their seven studio albums and countless other standard releases and EPs a distinct, unique experience. With their latest album, Post Human: Nex Gen, the band explores a more melodic, electronic sound. Critics have described the various tracks on the album as nu metal, hyperpop, pop punk, metalcore, and emo, to name a few.
This year sees Bring Me The Horizon prolonging the hype that came with the release of Nex Gen. The band are set to headline a series of arena tour dates spanning multiple continents starting early next year, with the first date being a show at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on April 28th 2026. Following the first show up north, the tour will continue throughout Canada, the United States, and various European countries both independently and as music festival performers.
Bring Me The Horizon are one of the biggest rock bands on the planet right now. Having sold millions of records worldwide while both regularly touring the globe and headlining big-name rock and metal festivals, they’re an unbeatable act in alternative music that you simply can’t ignore. And next year, they’re reaching a whole new level of stardom with their upcoming arena world tour.
The tour, as previously mentioned, will begin in Toronto, Canada on April 28th, but it’s the show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 5th that you simply just can’t miss. Tickets for that very show at the PPG Paints Arena are on sale now, so don’t miss out! Grab them while they’re hot!
